In light of recent events...
"And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful." (Aal 'Imraan 3:104)
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is that of the body; when one part of it is in pain, the rest of the body joins it in restlessness and fever." Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6011) and Muslim (2586).
Ash-shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez at-Tareefi (فك الله أسره) said: "It is a vain desire to concern yourself with the shortcomings of the oppressed while they are suffering, especially when you remain silent about the transgressions of the oppressor. When oppression occurs, it is time to aid, not assess."
Important considerations:
- Raise awareness, light the way, let the truth have room to stay
- Pray in secret, don’t display, what the heart alone must say
- Give in charity, don’t delay, lend your hand to those in need today
- Salahuddin al-Ayyubi acted on the solution’s way, with mindful steps that did not sway
